Western Disturbance Approaches: North Kashmir to See Early Snowfall, Plains May Get Light Rain
Srinagar 02/11/2025 (JKNN) A quick-moving Western Disturbance is set to affect the higher reaches of North Kashmir between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Tuesday. As the system will advance, its impact will gradually extend to other parts of Jammu and Kashmir. Some plains are likely to experience its effects by the afternoon, spreading to other plains by evening.
By Wednesday morning, the weather will start to settle, though a few spots might still record brief showers during the day. Thereafter, mainly dry weather is expected to prevail for about 10 days.
Snowfall in the plains appears unlikely due to the short duration of the system, while higher reaches will witness light to moderate snowfall.
