Anantnag, April 22 (JKNN ) Senior leader of the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference and Vice District President, Imran Amin Shah, paid rich tributes to the martyrs of the Pahalgam incident, stating that violence is not a solution to any problem but only deepens alienation and hatred.
He said that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have strongly condemned such inhuman acts and have consistently remained at the forefront in confronting anti-national elements.
During a day-long tour of the Anantnag Central segment to assess ongoing developmental works and public issues, Shah stated that the present government is committed to addressing public concerns and has initiated several development projects in the area.
He urged the authorities to ensure immediate public access to the Zadipora–Teilwani bridge and called for a thorough investigation into the alleged corruption in the distribution of electric poles by the concerned contractor.
Shah also asserted that the issue of water scarcity in the Brakpora area will soon be mitigated by the authorities. He expressed satisfaction over the functioning of the district administration and appreciated their prompt response to public grievances.
