Counter Intelligence Kashmir Raids Multiple Houses Across Valley In Ongoing UAPA Investigation

Srinagar, Aug 8 (GNS): The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Saturday conducted simultaneous search and raid operations at multiple locations across Kashmir, including Anantnag, Shopian, Kupwara, Bandipora and Baramulla districts.
Officials told GNS that the raids were carried out at several residential premises in the mentioned districts as part of an ongoing investigation.
Officials said the raids were conducted in connection with Case FIR No. 03/2023 registered at Police Station CIK Srinagar under sections 505, 153-A IPCand 13, 18 UAPA. The case is stated to be SIM card related.
Sources said the operations were also linked to other cases being investigated by CIK, involving allegations under the Arms Act, IPC and UAPA.
CIK has intensified its operations across Kashmir as part of its ongoing crackdown on anti-national activities and is verifying digital and material evidence during such raids.(GNS)
CIK Conducts Raids In Anantnag, Shopian; Searches Houses In Dooru, Hushangpora

Srinagar, Aug 8 (GNS): The Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Saturday conducted simultaneous search and raid operations at multiple locations in Anantnag and Shopian districts.
Officials told GNS that in Anantnag, a CIK team carried out a search at the residence of Shada Bano, wife of Ata Mohammad Qazi and resident of Hiller Shahabad Dooru.
In Shopian, under the supervision of DYSP Showkat Abdullah, CIK personnel raided the house of Gulzar Ahmad Wani, son of Ghulam Mohammad Wani and resident of Hushangpora, Zainapora.
Officials said the raids were conducted in connection with Case FIR No. 03/2023 registered at Police Station CIK Srinagar under sections 505, 153-A IPC and 13, 18 UAPA. The case is stated to be SIM card related.
Sources said Wani’s son, Usman Gulzar, is already under detention at Kot Bhalwal Jail, Jammu. He is an accused in FIR No. 104/2022 registered at Police Station Zainapora under sections 7/25-27 Arms Act, 307 IPC and 16, 18, 23, 38 UAPA.
Officials said the search operation was going on at the time of filing of this report. Further details are awaited.
