Srinagar, May 30 (JKNN): A heartwarming video featuring SSP Traffic City Srinagar, Aijaz Ahmad Bhat, has gone viral on social media, earning widespread appreciation for his compassionate approach towards traffic awareness.
In the video, SSP Aijaz Ahmad Bhat can be seen interacting affectionately with a young boy who was allegedly found riding a vehicle despite being underage. During the interaction, the officer gently asked the child which class he studied in. The boy replied that he was a student of the 6th standard.
The SSP then lovingly counseled the child about the dangers of underage driving and asked him to promise that he would not ride a vehicle until he became old enough and legally eligible to do so.
“Promise me that you will not ride until you grow up,” the SSP told the child. The boy agreed and assured the officer that he would follow the advice.
In a touching gesture, SSP Aijaz Ahmad Bhat kissed the child on the forehead and encouraged him to focus on his studies and safety. The moment was captured on video and has since attracted praise from netizens, who described it as an example of humane and community-oriented policing.
Many social media users commended the SSP for choosing guidance and awareness over punishment, saying the interaction conveyed an important road safety message in a caring and effective manner.
