Strong Winds Damage Rooftop, Disrupt Power Lines in Elahi Bagh, Buchpora Srinagar

Srinagar, April 16: (JKNN) Strong gusty winds caused damage in the Elahi Bagh area of Buchpora in Srinagar on Thursday after a rooftop was blown off and fell onto nearby power lines, disrupting electricity supply in the locality.
Eyewitnesses said the intense winds dislodged the rooftop, which landed directly on the overhead power infrastructure, posing a risk to residents and leading to a temporary outage.
Authorities are expected to assess the damage and restore power supply at the earliest.
Residents have urged concerned departments to take swift action to ensure safety and normalcy in the area.
