Srinagar, May 08 (JKNN):
With a noticeable rise in pollen allergy cases across Kashmir, doctors have advised people, especially children, elderly citizens and asthma patients, to take preventive measures during the ongoing season.
Health experts said symptoms including sneezing, itchy eyes, runny nose, throat irritation and breathing discomfort are being widely reported due to increased pollen levels in the air.
Doctors have recommended minimizing outdoor exposure during peak pollen hours, wearing masks while travelling, keeping windows closed and washing hands and face after returning home.
Medical experts further advised people suffering from severe allergies to consult doctors before taking any medication and seek immediate medical attention in case of breathing difficulty or severe reactions.
Residents have been urged to remain cautious and follow health advisories to avoid seasonal complications.
