Srinagar, July 23 (JKNN): Authorities have issued a Flood Warning for Pampore after the river water level reached 1587.484 metres at 8:02 PM on July 23, 2026, crossing the Warning Level (Flood Declaration) threshold.
The latest monitoring data indicates a rising trend in the water level, prompting authorities to closely monitor the situation.
Residents living in low-lying and flood-prone areas have been advised to remain alert, avoid unnecessary movement near the river, and follow all instructions issued by the local administration and disaster management authorities.
Officials are keeping a close watch on the situation, and further updates will be issued as required. Emergency response teams have been placed on alert in view of the rising water level.
