Massive Boost for J&K Police Force: IGP Kashmir Promotes 1,785 Officials to Next Ranks
Srinagar, Apr 29 (KNC): In a significant administrative move aimed at strengthening the policing structure, the Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) under the chairmanship of Inspector General of Police Kashmir V.K. Birdi has approved the promotion of 1,785 police personnel across various ranks.
As per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, Birdi for assessing the suitability of eligible HCs, SgCts and Constables for their elevation to the next ranks has approved promotion of 1785 officials including 300-HCs, 1020-SgCts & 465-Cts to the rank of ASI, HC and SgCts respectively.
IGP Kashmir has felicitated the promoted officials/their families and expressed the hope that they will strive to work hard for maintaining of public peace, tranquillity and law & order in the Union territory of J&K. (KNC)
