J&K Govt Reshuffles ARTOs, Issues Fresh Postings in Transport Department
Srinagar, May 18 (KNC): The Jammu and Kashmir Government on Monday ordered a major reshuffle in the Transport Department by transferring and assigning new postings to several Assistant Regional Transport Officers (ARTOs) and Incharge ARTOs across the Union Territory with immediate effect.
According to an official order issued by the Transport Department, the transfers were made following the placement of Junior Scale JKAS officers at the disposal of the department and in view of administrative requirements.
Under the new arrangement, Punika Pandita, presently serving as ATC in the office of the Transport Commissioner J&K, has been posted as ARTO (BoI) Jammu. She will additionally continue to hold the charge of ATC in the office of the Transport Commissioner.
Ashiq Rafiq Maliq has been appointed as ARTO Rajouri, while Mohd Iqbal Daing has been shifted and posted as ARTO Anantnag. Nawaz Sharief has been assigned the charge of ARTO Poonch.
Meanwhile, Anis Ahmad Wani has been transferred from ARTO Shopian and posted as ARTO Ganderbal. Arif Parvaiz Shah, who was serving as Incharge ARTO Ganderbal, has been moved as Incharge ARTO Shopian.
In another transfer, Rajesh Gupta has been shifted from Incharge ARTO Rajouri and posted as Incharge ARTO (Headquarters) Jammu.
The government has also attached Jugal Kishore Sharma, who was functioning as Incharge ARTO (BoI) Jammu, with the office of the Transport Commissioner J&K until further orders.
