Four Boys Rescued From Dal Lake After Boat Gets Stranded In Gusty Winds
Srinagar, Aug 3 (GNS): Four boys were rescued safely from Dal Lake on Monday after their boat got stranded due to sudden gusty winds, officials said.
Officials told GNS that the incident occurred when a local boat carrying four boys was caught in strong winds and became stuck in the middle of the lake.
On receiving information, the QRT SDRF team from Hazratbal rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation. All four boys were evacuated safely without any injuries.
Officials said the prompt response by the SDRF team averted a possible tragedy.(GNS)
