Srinagar man killed, another injured in NH-48 Jaipur Expressway crash

Srinagar, Apr 12 (KNO): A man from Srinagar was killed while another sustained injuries after a collision between a Jammu and Kashmir-registered Thar vehicle and a container truck on the NH-48 Jaipur Rajasthan Expressway, officials said on Sunday.
Officials told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the accident involved a Thar vehicle bearing registration number JK01AX-6894 and a container truck (RJ32GE-2102). The collision left two occupants of the Thar critically injured.
They said one of the injured, identified as Waseem Hassan, a resident of Buchpora Soura in Srinagar, later succumbed to his injuries. Another occupant, Farzan Ahmad Lone, also a resident of Buchpora Soura, sustained injuries and is stated to be stable.
Police have taken cognisance.—(KNO)
