NC’s Grassroots Outreach Paying Dividends Across Anantnag: Imran Shah
“From Discontent to Confidence: PDP Workers Join NC in Goripora Teilwani”
Anantnag, Jan 22:: Senior National Conference (NC) leader and District Vice President Anantnag, Imran Amin Shah, on thrusday said that the party’s sustained grassroots outreach is yielding positive results across the district, with people increasingly reposing their trust in the National Conference.
Welcoming several core and influential workers of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) into the NC fold at Goripora Teilwani, Shah said that the public is discerning enough to distinguish between truth and hollow promises. He observed that many PDP workers, disillusioned and feeling sidelined within their own party, have voluntarily joined the NC, inspired by its people-centric vision and credible leadership.
Addressing the gathering, Shah said that under the dynamic leadership of District President Anantnag, Mohammad Altaf Kuloo, the National Conference is working tirelessly to strengthen its presence at the grassroots level. He added that Kuloo’s consistent and sincere efforts have enabled the party to make significant inroads even in areas previously considered strongholds of the PDP.
Shah alleged that despite extending unwavering support to the PDP in the past, the area was neglected and deprived of basic developmental facilities. Instead of acknowledging the people’s mandate, he said, the PDP leadership remained embroiled in nepotism and corruption, leading to widespread public disenchantment.
Reaffirming the NC’s commitment to public welfare, Shah assured local residents that their genuine issues and developmental concerns would be addressed on priority in a transparent and accountable manner.
On the occasion, Block President Ab Salam and other senior party functionaries were present and also addressed the gathering.
