Film Shooting Resumes in Kashmir, Six Months After Pahalgam Terror Attack

Srinagar, Nov 4 (KNC): In a positive development for Kashmir’s tourism and film industry, shooting activities have resumed in the Valley, six months after the tragic Pahalgam terror attack that had left 26 people dead earlier this year.
As per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, A Telugu film crew has started shooting at the scenic Pahalgam tourist resort in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, marking a revival of confidence among filmmakers and tourism stakeholders. The resumption of film projects is being seen as a sign of renewed normalcy and optimism in the region.
The upcoming comedy film is being directed by Vimal Krishna, who is known for his work in popular Telugu movies such as Jessie and Ladies & Gentleman.
The crew members expressed admiration for Kashmir’s natural beauty and warm hospitality, describing the Valley as one of the most breathtaking filming destinations in the country.
Authorities are extending logistical and administrative support to ensure a smooth and safe shooting experience for the visiting team.
