WOMAN FOUND DEAD AT SRINAGAR RESIDENCE; POLICE LAUNCH INVESTIGATION
Srinagar, June 5:(KNC)A 36-year-old woman was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her residence in the Lal Bazar area of Srinagar on Friday, officials said.
The deceased, a resident of Lal Bazar, was reportedly found hanging inside a room of her house. Family members immediately shifted her to the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences for medical attention.
However, doctors at the hospital declared her brought dead after examination.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated legal proceedings to ascertain the exact circumstances surrounding the death.
Officials said an investigation is underway, and further details are awaited.(KNC)
