30/12/2023: (JKNN) DLSA Budgam Is devoted to raise the living standard of down trodden sections of society
(Budgam:30.12.2023) ,Empowering the society; District Legal Services Authority Budgam under the ages of J&K Legal Services Authority in collaboration with Human Rights and anti Corruption Forum has organised a programme at Legal Aid Clinc Gurwait Khansahib Budgam.The Programme was organized Under the insightful directions of Chairman DLSA Budgam and under the supervision of Secretary DLSA Budgam.Mr.Jehangir Ahmad Bakshi,Secretary District Legal Services Authority Budgam gave the presidential address on the occasion.Mr.Farooq Ahmad Khatana Secretary,Sc/St Community UT of J&K Spoke on the occasion and apprised the audience about the role of their forum for the welfare of people in general and SC/St Community in particular.Mr Javid Ahmad Mir panel Lawyer DLSA Budgam also spoke on the occasion and apprised the audience about the various legal aid services and schemes of DLSA meant for the common people in general and for the marginalized sects of society in particular.
Legal Aid beneficiaries of far flung areas of Gurwait khansahib,who were identified by Rafiq Ahmad Khan (PLV) in a door to door awareness, around 45 in number were provided warm blankets by this authority
President Anti Corruption and Human Rights forum Mr.Mudasir Ahmad presented vote of thanks to the audience for being part of this programme at the venue.Mr Nissar Ahmad Mir (PLV) DLSA Budgam moderated the whole programme.The programme witnessed the participation of men, women and PRI members.
