Two Killed as Car Plunges into Gorge on Chamalwas–Neeltop Road in Banihal

Srinagar, June 12(GNS): Two people died after an Alto car met with an accident and plunged into a deep gorge on the Chamalwas–Neeltop Road in Banihal on Friday.
Officials told GNS that an Alto car lost its control and veered off the road and plunged into a deep gorge on Chamalwas-Neeltop area.
Police, along with local volunteers and residents, launched a rescue operation at the site. Both occupants were pulled out but succumbed to their injuries.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident.(GNS)
