Teachers’ Day: NC Vice District President Imran Shah Pays Tribute to Teachers, Calls Them the True Architects of Society and Nation-Building
Anantnag 05/09/2026 (JKNN) On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (NC) Vice District President Imran Shah extended warm greetings to teachers and paid tribute to their invaluable role in shaping society and future generations.
Shah said that Islam gives a very high status to knowledge and those who impart it. The first revelation of the Holy Qur’an began with the profound command “Iqra” (Read), highlighting the importance of knowledge and learning.
He said teachers are not only educators but also guides who help nurture good character, discipline, humility, honesty and compassion among young minds. In Islam, imparting beneficial knowledge is regarded as a noble deed whose rewards can continue as long as people benefit from that knowledge.
Shah appreciated the dedication and commitment of teachers and called for greater respect and recognition of their contribution to education, character-building and nation-building.
He prayed that Allah Almighty bless all teachers with strength, wisdom and success, and accept their efforts in educating and guiding future generations.
He wished all teachers a very Happy Teachers’ Day and expressed hope that their sincere efforts would continue to illuminate the path of generations to come.
