Sopore Students Win Big in National Pencak Silat Championship 2023

Sopore, Nov 26 (KS): Students from the Shah-i-hamdan Sports Academy in Sopore have shone in the concluded 11th Junior, Sub Junior, and Pre-Teen National Pencak Silat Championship 2023 held in Patna, Bihar.

Saira Khan, a 13-year-old student, as per News Agency Kashmir Scroll showcased her incredible skills and emerged victorious with a gold medal in her category.

She competed against players from all over India, leaving a lasting impression with her stellar performance.

Meanwhile, Institution authorities told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that Zaid bin Nabi and Sofi Hilal, also representing the Shah-i-hamdan Sports Academy, bagged silver and bronze medals. They said all the students solidifying their academy’s remarkable achievements in the championship.

The academy administration further said that the victory holds great significance for Saira Khan, who not only had the opportunity to represent her academy on a national stage but also clinched the prestigious gold medal.

Meanwhile, talking to News Agency Kashmir Scroll Masrat Rasool Kar, the head of Shah-i-hamdan Sports Academy expressed her joy and extended heartfelt congratulations to Saira Khan and her family.

She said the success of these talented students highlights the exceptional training and guidance provided by the Shah-i-hamdan Sports Academy in Sopore.
