Scheduled Power Shutdown Announced in Jammu, Katra and Kishtwar Areas; Electricity Supply to Remain Affected on July 7–12
JAMMU, July 6: (JKNN) The Jammu Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JPDCL) has announced scheduled power shutdowns in several areas of Jammu’s Katra subdivision and Kishtwar district to facilitate maintenance and related works.
According to the Superintending Engineer, O&M Circle-III, JPDCL Batote, the power supply to Katra Road, Niharika, Old Market Katra, and adjoining areas will remain affected from July 7 to July 9, daily from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.
Meanwhile, the Superintending Engineer, O&M Circle, JPDCL Kishtwar, informed that the power supply to Chinta, Naska, Manva, Gathi Morh, Lalan Chakki, and adjoining areas will remain suspended on July 8, 10 and 12, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Similarly, electricity supply to Jagroth, Malani, Pranoo, Rana Mohalla, and adjoining areas will remain affected on July 9 and 11, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
JPDCL has advised consumers in the affected areas to plan their activities accordingly and has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused during the scheduled maintenance works.
