Residents of Rampora Chattabal Srinagar Suffer Due to Acute Water Crisis, Seek Immediate Govt Intervention

Srinagar, May 19 (JKNN): Residents of Rampora Chattabal area in Srinagar are facing immense hardship due to the non-availability of water, with locals saying the crisis has made their daily lives miserable.
According to residents, the area has been witnessing an acute shortage of water for the past several days, forcing people to struggle even for basic drinking water.
They said women, children, and elderly persons are the worst affected due to the ongoing crisis.
“We don’t have water even to drink. People are suffering badly due to this shortage and our daily routine has been badly affected,” locals said while expressing resentment over the issue.
The residents said they are facing severe difficulties in managing household work and appealed to the PHE Jal Shakti Department to intervene immediately and restore proper water supply in the locality.
The locals urged the concerned authorities to resolve the issue as soon as possible to prevent further inconvenience to the people.
