Power Shutdown by KPDCL: Multiple Areas to Face Scheduled Outages in Srinagar & Anantnag

SRINAGAR, DECEMBER 01: (JKNN) The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a series of scheduled power shutdowns affecting several areas of Srinagar and Anantnag districts in the first week of December.
According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution KPDCL, a shutdown of the 33KV GIS Khanyar–Kathidarwaza line will be carried out, impacting power supply to Saidkadal, Nadiyar, Kathidarwaza, Central Jail, Psychiatric Hospital, PHE Pokhribal, Mir Behri Dal and adjoining areas.

The outage will remain in effect from 09:30 AM to 03:30 PM on December 02, 2025.
Similarly, the 33 kV Khiram Tap line will remain under shutdown, affecting Khiram, Mahind and nearby areas, from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on December 04 and December 06, 2025.
Likewise, a shutdown has also been scheduled on
Mattan–Pahalgam line, due to which Salia, Seer, Aishmuqam, Saller, Batkoot, Pahalgam and adjoining areas will face a power suspension from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM on December 03, 2025.
KPDCL has urged consumers in the affected areas to stay informed and make necessary arrangements during the scheduled outages.
