Imran Shah Leads Major Joining Programme in Anantnag, Welcomes Former PDP Workers into NC
Anantnag, May 14: (JKNN) Senior Jammu & Kashmir National Conference leader and District Vice President Anantnag, Imran Amin Shah, on Wednesday thanked the party leadership and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for their special focus on the development of Anantnag, stating that the National Conference is committed to restoring the town’s historic glory.
Addressing a joining programme in Anantnag, where more than a dozen former PDP workers, including Aqib Ahmad Sheikh, Bilal Ahmad, Rashid Ahmad, Saliq Showkat, Rouf Ahmad Gilkar, Subzar Ahmad Nanda, Shabir Ahmad Dar, and Muneer Ahmad Bhat joined the NC, Shah said that the recent sanctioning of funds for waste management and other developmental projects reflects the government’s serious commitment towards the progress and modernization of the town.
He said the growing public support for the National Conference reflects people’s trust in the party’s leadership, policies, and commitment towards public welfare. Shah expressed confidence that the people of Anantnag would give the party a strong mandate in the upcoming Urban Local Bodies (ULB) elections.
Criticising previous government for neglect and developmental setbacks in the town, Shah reiterated that the National Conference would continue working tirelessly for transparent governance and the holistic development of Anantnag.
