Srinagar, June 27: (JKNN) A massive fire broke out in the Tabardar Mohalla area of Khanyar in Srinagar at around 3:00 am when most residents were asleep, creating panic in the locality.
According to local sources, the Fire and Emergency Services personnel rushed to the spot soon after the blaze was reported and launched an immediate firefighting operation. Their prompt action, along with assistance from the police, prevented the fire from spreading further and averted major damage.
Residents of the area expressed gratitude to the Fire and Emergency Services department and the police for their timely intervention and efforts in bringing the situation under control. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are yet to be ascertained.
