JUSTIN: Earthquake Tremors Shake Kashmir Valley, No Immediate Reports of Damage
Srinagar, June 27 (JKNN): A strong 6.2-magnitude earthquake struck Afghanistan on Saturday evening, triggering tremors across several parts of Jammu and Kashmir and causing panic among residents.
The quake occurred at 7:04:51 PM IST, with its epicentre located about 74 kilometres south of Fayzabad, Afghanistan, at a depth of 215 kilometres.
People in several districts of Jammu and Kashmir rushed out of their homes and offices as a precaution. No loss of life or property damage has been reported so far. (JKNN)
