On Saturday night, the elevated regions of Gulmarg, situated in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district, welcomed the inaugural snowfall of the season.

Light snowfall and rainfall persisted in the upper Gulmarg areas until Sunday morning.

This event signifies the commencement of the season’s snowfall in the Gulmarg region.

Authorities further revealed that today’s maximum temperature in Gulmarg was recorded at 15°C, marking a 3°C drop compared to yesterday.

Gulmarg’s first snowfall of the season blankets higher reaches. Max. temperature drops to 15°C, down 3°C from yesterday: MET.
