Doon School Srinagar Holds Grand Investiture Ceremony 2026, New Student Council Inducted
Doon School Srinagar proudly ushered in a new era of leadership during its resplendent Annual Investiture Ceremony 2026, where the newly elected Student Council was formally inducted in the presence of Chief Guest Major General Abhijeet Mitra (GOC 31 Sub Area), Guest of Honour Colonel Rajeev Bhooshan, and Special Guest Abrar Khan Tareen. The event commenced with an evocative address by our Chairman, followed by a formal felicitation where the Chairman and School Principal presented tokens of appreciation to the Chief Guest and Guest of Honour for their distinguished service. The ceremony reached its zenith as the Principal administered the oath to Head Boy Hassan and Head Girl Mufti Fajr, who then delivered inspiring maiden addresses pledging to uphold the school’s legacy with integrity. As the Chairman, Principal, and esteemed guests pinned the badges and sashes, the atmosphere was further brightened by soul-stirring cultural performances that celebrated both contemporary hits and our rich Kashmiri heritage.
