District Judge Fayaz Ahmad Qureshi Takes Over as MACT Srinagar Presiding Officer
Srinagar, Nov 24, KNT: District and Sessions Judge Fayaz Ahmad Qureshi on Monday assumed charge as the Presiding Officer of the Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal Court Srinagar.
Upon his joining, members of the lawyers’ fraternity welcomed the newly appointed Presiding Officer and assured him of full cooperation in the smooth dispensation of justice. Judge Qureshi interacted with lawyers and staff soon after taking charge and emphasised coordinated functioning of the tribunal.
Meanwhile, the outgoing Presiding Officer, Ms Jeema Bashir, received a warm send-off from Judge Qureshi and the lawyers. She has been posted as the Principal District and Sessions Judge Bandipora. [KNT]
