Decade of Misgovernance Pushed J&K into Uncertainty; Anantnag Deserves Planned Growth: Imran Shah
“Ensure Street Lighting During Harsh Winter and Before Ramadan”
Anantnag, 06 Jan: (JOIN) Touring Anantnag main town today, Senior National Conference leader and District Vice President Anantnag, Imran Amin Shah, said that due to its great historical and administrative significance, Anantnag town requires comprehensive and planned development. He asserted that it is only the National Conference which can translate this dream into reality under the visionary leadership of Dr Farooq Abdullah Sahib and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Sahib, who are committed to ensuring equitable development of all regions and areas of Jammu and Kashmir.
Imran Shah said that the region has been suffering for the past years due to the misrule of the previous regime, which pushed Jammu and Kashmir into chaos and uncertainty by indulging in nepotism and mass corruption.
Emphasising urgent civic issues, Shah stressed the need for proper management of interior roads, particularly calling for the removal of unnecessary dividers on Court Road and Dangerpora, which are causing severe traffic congestion. He warned that such bottlenecks could prove disastrous in case of any emergency situation.
Imran Shah further urged the concerned authorities to ensure the immediate restoration of street lights and uninterrupted power supply, along with other essential services, especially during the winter season, to provide relief and better facilities to the public.
