Srinagar, Jan 23 (KNC): All flight operations at Srinagar Airport were cancelled on Friday due to continuous snowfall and accumulation of snow on the operational areas, officials said.
Airport authorities as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC said the decision was taken keeping in view the prevailing adverse weather conditions and an unfavourable forecast along the flight routes, making operations unsafe.
Passengers have been advised to contact their respective airlines for updates regarding flight status and re-accommodation. Officials expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to travellers. (KNC)
