AJKTWA seeks revocation of ‘harsh penal law’

Srinagar, Jan 01 (KNO): All Jammu & Kashmir Transporters Welfare Association (AJKTWA) on Monday appealed to the government to withdraw the new penal law with provisions of up to 10 years of imprisonment and fines against those accused in accident cases.

Addressing a press conference in Srinagar, AJKTWA, as per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), expressed that the newly introduced law should be revoked.

They added that if any shutdown call is issued from the transporters association, they will support it—(KNO)
