Actor Junior Mehmood Passes Away After Long Battle with Stomach Cancer

08/12//2023 (JKNN) : Renowned actor Naeem Sayyed, widely known as Junior Mehmood, succumbed to stomach cancer at his Khar residence on Friday at the age of 67.

His son Husnain revealed that they discovered his fourth-stage cancer only 18 days ago, opting for home care as advised by Tata Memorial Hospital.

Junior Mehmood, who began his career as a child artiste in 1966, featured in iconic films such as “Mera Naam Joker” and “Haathi Mere Saathi” and briefly appeared in TV shows.

The actor’s funeral is scheduled for today at Santacruz kabrastan. He is survived by his wife Lata and two sons.
