Rape accused arrested in Bandipora: Police

Bandipora, Oct 12 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir Police in Sumbal area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Thursday arrested a rape accused in the district, officials said.

A senior police officer told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that following a written complaint from a family of a minor girl (name withheld) stating therein that she was raped by the one person.

After strenuous efforts, he said that the police traced and arrested the accused and registered a case under relevant sections of laws.
