Summer Vacation For Kashmir, Jammu Winter Zone Schools Extended Till July 26: Sakina Itoo
Schools to reopen on July 27
Srinagar, July 21 (GNS): The summer vacation for all Government and recognized private schools in the Kashmir Division and Winter Zones of Jammu Division has been extended till July 26, 2026, Minister for Education Sakina Itoo announced on Tuesday.
In a post on X, the Minister said the decision has been taken keeping “the safety and well-being of students, teachers, and their families as our foremost priority.”
“Schools will now reopen on Monday, 27th July, 2026,” she stated.
Itoo urged everyone to stay safe, remain vigilant and follow advisories issued by the concerned authorities, and wished good health and safety to students, teachers and their families. (GNS)
