Unidentified Body Recovered Near Chanapora Encounter Site In Shopian

Shopian, July 08 (GNS): An unidentified body was recovered near the encounter site in Chanapora area of Shopian on Wednesday.
Official sources told GNS, “Fresh gunshots were heard near the encounter site and later an unidentified body was recovered. The identity of the body is being verified. Some arms and ammunition have also been observed from a distance.”
The operation was launched four days ago by a joint team of police and army following inputs about the presence of terrorists in the area.
