Sopore Youth Dies After Falling Unconscious in Srinagar
Srinagar, July 7, KNT: A 23-year-old man was brought to SMHS Hospital Srinagar in an unconscious condition on Monday, where doctors declared him brought dead, officials said.
According to officials, a police party from Police Post Fateh Kadal shifted the youth to the hospital after he was found unconscious. However, despite the efforts to save him, doctors at SMHS Hospital declared him brought dead on arrival.
The deceased has been identified as Danish Nazir Shah, son of Nazir Ahmad Shah, a resident of Model Town Sopore, currently residing at Nagbal, Ganderbal.
Police have initiated proceedings to ascertain the circumstances leading to the death. The body has been taken into custody for completion of medico-legal formalities, and further investigation is underway. [KNT]
