Iran Announces Electronic Signing of Historic Agreement with US
Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei has confirmed that Iran and the United States have electronically signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which has already come into effect.
Baghaei said the agreement was finalized with the approval of both presidents and marks a step toward further negotiations between the two countries. He added that a planned signing ceremony in Geneva has been cancelled as the document was signed electronically.
The MoU is expected to pave the way for continued talks aimed at resolving key disputes and maintaining the current ceasefire.
KEY PROVISIONS OF THE 14-POINT US-IRAN AGREEMENT

▪ Commitment by Iran not to pursue nuclear weapons.
▪ Continued international monitoring and verification of nuclear-related activities.
▪ Establishment of mechanisms to prevent future military escalation.
▪ Cooperation on regional security and de-escalation measures.
▪ Facilitation of humanitarian assistance and post-conflict recovery initiatives.
▪ Engagement through international and multilateral diplomatic channels for dispute resolution.
▪ Efforts to secure broader international endorsement and implementation of the agreement.
