Woman Dies After Allegedly Shooting Self with 12-Bore Gun in North Kashmir’s Boniyar
Baramulla, May 4, KNT: A woman ended her life by allegedly shooting herself with a 12-bore gun at her residence in the Dudran area of Boniyar in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said on Monday.
Sources said the woman (name withheld) used a firearm reportedly lying inside the house and died on the spot.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident, and further details regarding the circumstances leading to the death were awaited at the time of filing this report.
Authorities are expected to initiate proceedings as part of the standard investigation.
