J&K Government Orders Key Transfers and Postings in Finance and Related Departments
Jammu, Mar 31 (KNC): In a move aimed at administrative efficiency, the Jammu and Kashmir government on Tuesday issued a series of transfers and postings in key financial and allied departments.
According to the order as per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, Mr. Imtiyaz Ahmad Wani, currently Director Resources in the Finance Department, has been transferred and posted as Director Accounts & Treasuries, Kashmir, replacing Mr. Abdul Hamid Kumar, who will retire on March 31, 2026.
Mr. Mazher Hussain, Director Finance of the Public Works (R&B) Department, has been posted as Director Resources, Finance Department, succeeding Mr. Imtiyaz Ahmad Wani.
Mr. Hemkant Prasher, Director Finance, Agriculture Production Department, has been transferred to the post of Director Finance, Public Works (R&B) Department, replacing Mr. Mazher Hussain.
Additionally, Ms. Tabasum, Director Finance, Animal and Sheep Husbandry Department, will hold the additional charge of Director Finance, Agriculture and Horticulture Department until further orders.
The order, signed by Shailendra Kumar, IAS, Financial Commissioner (ACS), Finance Department, comes into effect immediately. (KNC)
