Srinagar, Feb 18: (JKNN) A fire incident broke out in a three-storey residential house in the New colony Lal Bazar area of Srinagar on Tuesday, triggering a swift response from Fire and Emergency Services and the concerned police authorities.
Firefighters rushed to the spot soon after the blaze was reported and launched an intensive operation to contain the flames.
Police teams also reached the scene to manage the situation and ensure safety in the surrounding area.
Locals joined the rescue efforts, assisting emergency personnel in attempting to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby structures. The extent of damage or any injuries was not immediately known.
