Roof Damage Disrupts Power Supply in Awanta Bhawan Shahi Mohalla ; SDRF,R&B & PDD Praised for Swift Restoration

Strong winds on Thursday evening caused widespread damage in several parts of Kashmir. In Awanta Bhawan’s Shahi Mohalla area of Srinagar, a rooftop was blown off due to the powerful gusts, resulting in damage to overhead power lines and disruption of electricity supply.
Soon after the incident, teams from SDRF, R&B,PDD, and other concerned departments rushed to the spot and carried out swift restoration work. Thanks to their timely response, power supply in the affected area was restored within a short time, preventing further inconvenience to residents.
Subdivision Hawal team and concerned Mohalla PDD linemen and inspector worked tirelessly on the ground to repair damaged lines and restore electricity.
Their dedication and hard work ensured that power supply was restored in the shortest possible time. Residents of the area expressed gratitude and said they felt proud of the Subdivision Hawal team and field staff, who performed mohalla-level restoration work with commitment and efficiency.
