Imran Shah tours Anantnag, Appeals to CM Omar Abdullah for Relief Assistance to windstorm-affected

Anantnag, Jan 23: (JKNN) Senior National Conference Leader and District Vice President Anantnag, Imran Amin Shah today demanded immediate assessment of the losses caused by windstorm in Anantnag.
During his visit, Imran Shah urged J&K CM Omar Abdullah to provide relief and assistance to affected families.
Imran Shah visited Brakpora, Dagpora Khanabal, Hardtooro, sunsoma, and several other areas of Anantnag to assess the ground situation following the windstorm that struck the district on Thursday evening.
The windstorm caused extensive damage to several houses, while vehicles parked along roadsides and near affected homes were also damaged.
During his visit, Imran Shah demanded an immediate assessment of losses caused by the windstorm and recent snowfall in Anantnag. He urged Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to provide timely compensation for the affected families.
Imran Shah also commended the District Police authorities and administration for their prompt response, appreciating their efforts in providing assistance and extending a helping hand to families and individuals in distress. He lauded the police for remaining available and responsive during these pressing times.
Imran Shah urged district administration to ensure all basic facilities to the people and ensure timely restoration of electricity in Anantnag district.
