Egg Samples Collected in Srinagar Meet FSSAI Standards: Officials

Srinagar, Jan 9 (KNC): All egg samples lifted from various parts of Srinagar and sent for analytical examination have been declared to be of standard quality, officials said on Friday.
An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC) that the samples were tested in accordance with the standards prescribed by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) and were found fit for human consumption.
The official clarified that the Eaggoz brand is not available in Kashmir, and added that during the inspection drive, both loose and packaged eggs available in Srinagar markets were lifted for testing.
He said the testing was conducted as part of routine food safety surveillance to ensure quality and safeguard public health, adding that such drives will continue in the future as well. (KNC)
