Man falls from house in Kupwara, battling for life at SMHS Hospital
Kupwara, Dec 29, KNT: A 36-year-old man from Kupwara was brought to SMHS Hospital, Srinagar in critical condition on Monday after sustaining serious injuries in a fall from height.
The injured has been identified as Nadeem Ahmad Bhat, son of Asadullah Bhat, a resident of Khushi Kupwara. He was initially taken to the District Hospital Kupwara, from where he was referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for advanced medical treatment due to the severity of his condition.
Hospital sources said the patient was admitted to the emergency department in a critical state and is undergoing treatment.
According to the statement of the injured man’s attendants, he fell from the rooftop of his house under circumstances that are being described as accidental.
Meanwhile, police have taken note of the incident and are ascertaining further facts. [KNT]
