NC believes in Commitment & development not on hollow promises : MLA Larmi
“PDP used Anantnag only as a political tool”
Anantnag, Dec 1: Senior NC leader and hon’ble MLA Anantnag West, Ab Majeed Larmi, strongly criticized the previous PDP regime for what he termed as “total neglect” of Anantnag town and its adjoining areas. He said the region had been left “at the mercy of fate” with no serious developmental initiatives, while being used repeatedly for “mere political gains” and “hollow promises.”
Larmi, who visited Nandpora near the PHE Office in Khanabal to review ongoing development works and listen to local grievances, expressed disappointment that residents living so close to the main town were still deprived of basic amenities.
Under the direction of the Hon’ble MLA Anantnag-West. District vice President Anantnag Imran Amin Shah also undertook a recent visit to the area to assess local issues and review developmental requirements
He reiterated that the National Conference is committed to the holistic development of Anantnag West, adding that the promises made during elections would be fulfilled soon. “Our party believes in commitment, not hollow sloganeering,” he said, accusing previous governments of nepotism, favoritism, and ignoring the genuine needs of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
He added that the impact of past regimes’ failures is still being felt by the people today.
