Youth Stabbed in Kupwara, Hospitalized

Kupwara, Feb 8 (KS): A youth was injured after being stabbed in the Baber Line area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday evening.

Sources told News Agency Kashmir Scroll that a youth identified as Muneer Ahmad Dar, son of Ghulam Qadir Dar, a resident of Bumhama Kupwara, was injured after being stabbed with a sharp-edged weapon near Baber Line.

Sources further said that he was immediately rushed to SDH Kupwara for treatment, where he was shifted to DH Baramulla for specialized treatment.

A doctor at the hospital also confirmed this unfortunate news to news agency Kashmir Scroll and said the injured is being treated and is said to be stable.

A police officer told the news agency Kashmir Scroll that a case has been registered and further investigation has been initiated. (KS)
