Hazratbal: A disturbing incident in Hazratbal has sparked outrage among locals after two mice were discovered inside an oil tin, raising serious questions about food safety and market regulation.
While talking to JKNews Nation, residents criticized the authorities for failing to conduct timely market inspections.
They demanded daily checks to ensure that food products meet hygiene standards and prevent such incidents in the future.
Locals specifically called for strict monitoring of roadside vendors, Nadru Mauja sellers, Road vendors, urging officials to inspect the quality of cooking oil and other materials being used.
The public is now awaiting an official response from the authorities regarding their concerns.
