Woman drowns in river Jhelum in Hajin’s Asham, body recovered, probe underway
Srinagar, Sep 25 (NVI) : A 58-year-old woman, drowned in River Jhelum at Khan Mohalla, Asham Hajin area of North Kashmir Bandipora district on Wednesday.
An official told NVI that 58-year-old woman, accidentally fell into the river, near Khan Mohalla, Asham Hajin area.
He said the lady later was identified as Saleema Begum, wife of Bashir Ahmed Bhat, while immediately a rescue operation was launched, and her body was recovered from the river.
Meanwhile, police have taken up the Investigation.— (News Vibes of India)
