Woman among five persons injured in Handwara road mishap
Handwara, Feb 09 (KS): A 35-year-old woman among five persons were injured in a road mishap in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.
Reports reaching Srinagar-based news gathering agency Kashmir Scroll said an accident took place in the Tutigund area of Handwara when a vehicle bearing registration number DL 10 CF 7147 hit another vehicle bearing registration number PB 054 4287.
Reports said that in the mishap, five people were injured and were immediately taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
A police officer also confirmed this road mishap to news agency Kashmir Scroll and identified all injured as Zamrooda Begum, a 35-year-old wife of Tariq Ahmad Magray resident of Kandi; Gowhar Ahmad Mir, son of Mohd Ashraf resident of Mughalpora; Aazim Tariq, son of Tariq Ahmad Magray resident of Kandi; Huzaif Tariq, son of Tariq Ahmad Magray resident of Kandi; and Arhan Tariq.
The officer further said that a case in this regard has been registered and further investigation has been initiated. (KS)
