Western Disturbance to Bring Rain/Snow Showers to Jammu and Kashmir
Weather Update
Under the influence of a Western Disturbance, light to moderate rain/snow showers are expected in some parts of Jammu and Kashmir from late Monday afternoon until Tuesday evening.
Rain/snow activities will commence from higher reaches of Kashmir first, before potentially spreading to some plains by night.
North Kashmir, particularly its higher elevations, is likely to witness the most activity.
For majority of the time, the weather is expected to remain dry (for most places).
As a result of another Western Disturbance, light activities of rain/snow may continue until Wednesday over a few parts.
No strong Western Disturbance is expected to impact Jammu and Kashmir until at least January 28.
Cold Wave is set to make a comeback from January 24 onwards.
