Weather Update for Jammu and Kashmir

Kashmir Region:
Weather activities are expected to pick up from today late afternoon/evening with major activity expected on 05 & 06 July. Generally, light to moderate showers are only expected, however, in a few spots intense showers can’t be ruled out.
There is a risk of flash flooding (few spots only) due to intense showers (middle & higher reaches, particularly in South Kashmir, are most vulnerable).
Note: No Continuous Rainfall is Expected.

Jammu Region:
Weather activities will pick up from late night onwards with major impact expected on 5th July night & on 6th July night.
There will be a risk of intense showers/ cloudbursts in some areas and may lead to flash flooding.
